Victory for the Last Days

www.HealingoftheNationsministries.org

In the name of Jehovah Yahweh Yeshua the great Eloheim God the creator of Heaven and earth as the chairman and President of the Healing of the Nations Ministries in accordance with the written word of the most High God I decree on this day; Call upon the name of the Lord!  Humble yourselves, confess your failings He will hear from heaven!

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14

The Lord God according to His written word does not desire destruction to fall. Whether in nature or among men.  Destruction comes because the wickedness of men rises high up into the Heavenlies.  It is recorded in God's holy word saying that in the last generations of mankind hatred will rise, race against race, tribe against tribe, nation against nation with many wars as the outcome of wickedness and hatred.
"And Jesus answered and said to them:'Take heed that no one deceives you.  For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows."  Matthew 24:4-8
But yet it is recorded in God's word that as those events begin ransacking lives, tribes and nations, that the salvation of the Lord still stands at the ready.   For it is written, saying;"... if the the people who are recognize by my name, by their faith in me, will humble themselves, repent from their wicked ways, and cry out unto me I will hear from Heaven and heal their lands!

Now it shall come to pass, when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the Lord your God drives you,
and you return to the Lord your God and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul,  that the Lord your God will bring you back from captivity, and have compassion on you, and gather you again from all the nations where the Lord your God has scattered you.  If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under heaven, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you.  Then the Lord your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers.  And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

Also the Lord your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you.  And you will again obey the voice of the Lord and do all His commandments which I command you today.  The Lord your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your land for good. For the Lord will again rejoice over you for good as He rejoiced over your fathers,  if you obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this Book of the Law, and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.  Deuteronomy 30:1-10
Jesus declared, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.  By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”  John 13:34-35
"As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.

If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love." “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.  This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.  You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.  These things I command you, that you love one another."  John 15: 9-17

In another place in God's word the Lord Jesus spoke declaring unto his Father in prayer saying "
Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. John 17:11
He was longingly looking forward to the day when all who follow Him will come to the reality that in Him: We are already made one body.

"That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.  And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:  I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.That Father as I am in you and you are in me, so too shall they become perfected in the understanding of one-ship."  John 17:21-23
It is time for every believer who follows the teaching of Yeshua Jesus, for every person across the face of the globe, who calls upon Elohim, in the name of his word manifest in the flesh, born of the virgin, as the ancient Prophets fortold, Yeshua Jesus the true Messiah, the Way, the everlasting Redeemer; it is now time : and again I say it is now time (!), Lock arms, lock hearts, lock minds, lock spirits to one another in an attitude of love.  Whether across the nation of the United States of America or whether in any other recognized nation of the face of this globe; this is the hour (!)  This can be that generation prophetically fortold by the Lamb of God to usher in the perfection of His truth and that truth is this:  If you are in Christ Jesus you are living engrafted into, and dwelling in, one living organism together. This, Saint Paul decreed in his letter of correction entitled 1 Corithians. In the hour, in which, every follower and every believer in the true Saviour Messiah, Yeshua Jesus realizes that by their faith, they are already grafted in together with every other believer by Yahweh the Holy Spirit Elohiem God.  Then the fulfillment of the Lord's promise of John  Chapter 17 can be fulfilled and that promise is this: His Shekiena glory! The Shekiena glory of Yahweh the Holy Spirit will be able to be seen evidenced in every land and every nation across the world.  We are living in that day, and in that hour, and in that generation of time when the prophesy of Yeshua Jesus is seen being fulfilled.  For he said," There will come a day in the earth when the wickedness of men and the wickedness of nations shall become so darkened that those who are in me shall shine like candles shining brightly in a darkened room."

In another teaching of Yeshua Jesus; He stated that your life is to be lived like a candle. Does that woman of the house light a candle and hide it under her bed?  NO!  Rather, she sets it high so that it gives off light, so that it fills the whole room.   In like manner, if you say you follow Yeshua Jesus, if you say that He is the Way, that He is the Truth, that He is the Life, as He declared, the only way unto the father, then I decree unto you as a humble ordained minister of God, saved from death at my birth, brought back from death twice, with one purpose: to be as a voice of the truth, the life,  the salvation, the mercy, the forgiveness, the restoration, of Christ Yeshua Jesus unto any man,any woman, any youth, any child that will call upon his name.  For He said speaking of himself, " I have come that you may have life and have life more abundantly"  He was speaking of the Spirit.  For when any person humbles them self and confesses unto them self  that there is no good thing in them they place them self in the position spiritually of being in agreement with the will and the word of the most High God.  When they call upon the name Yeshua Jesus they then are placed in living relationship in the supernatural body of Christ Jesus.   Being made up of those whose bodies have already died and passed over and all other living in this generation in Christ Jesus.
Jesus decreed saying,"If any two or more agree in perfect unity on a thing in my name and go unto the Heavenly Father in faith believing it shall be done unto them."  But, when they do not stand up in the  name of Yeshua Jesus , when they do not place their hope and their trust in His salvation alone, without realizing it, they hinder the hand of God from working on their behalf.  For God desires to bless, God desires to bless!!  But Elohiem is a Holy God.  Yehovah, Yahweh, Yeshua Jesus is a Holy and righteous God and when any nation which at a crucial point in that nation's history declared by their leaders and by the citizens with one voice, that they will follow the teachings, the laws and the commandments, of Elohim God, and then having followed that covenant they then as a nation choose to remove from before their face, the name of the righteous God, and they choose as a nation to follow after those ways which Elohiem God, {from the foundation of the earth} has decreed to be contrary to His way of salvation, then in the hour and in the generation when that nation sees its seasons and weathers in turmoil, sees plant life and animal life and aquatic life suffering , sees their economy crushed and tumbling , sees their political and military strength crumbling;  then they must, {if they be honest with themselves}, shake themselves out of the their self imposed stupor; Repenting, turning back to the ways of Elohim God, Keeping to religion.  Then humbling themselves with one united voice,  begin to cry out unto the true, living, all powerful God, confessing their wicked ways, then it shall be as Malachi prophesied unto the ancient Hebrews with a holy promise: " I then the Lord God shall hear from heaven and heal their land".
For those who follow Yeshua Jesus that live within the borders of the United States of America, who call themselves U.S. citizens, stir yourselves today.   Awaken yourself from slumber.  Turn your eyes backward toward the history of this nation and see that as long as this nation's populace, this nation's government, this nation's places of worship, kept before their face the purpose of honoring the most high God, in all that they said and did: Did not the nation dwell in strength?   Did not this nation dwell with righteousness in the streets?   I must decree on this day of Thanksgiving, for all U.S. citizens this holy statement. Set aside time.  Contemplate your life.If you see anything in your life that is contrary to God, if you see the fruit of any struggle that is not holy, simply humble yourself unto the most high God, in the name of his righteous and only true Messiah Yeshua Jesus.  Simply call upon Him, ask forgiveness.  Ask for strength to overcome.   Pray that Elohim God in his righteous mercy will begin to pour out in your heart and in every heart of every person dwelling within the borders of the United States of America for a Holy, Righteous,Revival. Cry out unto Elohim God in the name of his son, that he has mercy upon our land , that he will forgive the multitude and heaps and piles of wickedness that has been committed within the borders of this land.  Then standing in the promise of the most high God, as it is found recorded in His holy word; maybe He will take note, and determine with his Word and his Angelic Host to bring about true and full restoration in the land.   For the ancient Prophet decreed saying ," If the the people called by my name ........" For all followers of Yeshua Jesus in all other nations sharing this globe if you truly follow Yeshua Jesus then you too have the responsibility with promise, that if you will do likewise then Elohim God can hear from heaven and begin healing your land.

Hearing the Voice of God

In Acts 22:6-9 it gives Paul's testimony of what happened when he encountered the Lord.  Not only did it affect his vision but it affected his hearing.  The enlightenment of the truth changes the way we perceive things and how we react to what we hear.  John 14:6 Jesus said, " I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me."
“Now it happened, as I journeyed and came near Damascus at about noon, suddenly a great light from heaven shone around me.  And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?’

So I answered, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said to me, ‘I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting.’  "And those who were with me indeed saw the light and were afraid, but they did not hear the voice of Him who spoke to me.   Faith comes by hearing and Paul heard for the first time what God was speaking to him and He believed by professing "Who are You,Lord?".                                                  Those that were with him saw the light as well but they could not hear the voice because of their lack of faith.
They trembled in fear because of the conviction that was placed upon their very souls.
Hebrews 12: 25-29  See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also the heaven.
Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
The knowledge of the truth which only Jesus can reveal to you sets you free.  Your eyes see, your ears hear and your heart understands what God is speaking.
John 8:36  Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.  Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.  Galatians 5:1

Hebrews 2:1-4  Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward,  how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,  God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?

Hebrews 3:7-14
Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:  “Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness, Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me,  And saw My works forty years.

Therefore I was angry with that generation,
And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart,  And they have not known My ways.’ So I swore in My wrath,     ‘They shall not enter My rest.’”

" Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;  but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.    For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end.
Numbers 14:21-24  But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord.  Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;  Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto the fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:  but my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went;  and his seed shall possess it.

God wants to get us to the point that we will fully surrender to what HE speaks to us that He might bless us with an inheritance.  We can see the fulfillment of every promise when we determine in our heart that we will believe despite what our circumstances are speaking to us.     John 20:29  Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”      We must not allow ourselves to have an EVIL heart of unbelief.  We must believe despite what we see with our natural eyes so we can inherit the promises of God.

If God is speaking to you today I just want to encourage you to believe that what HE is saying is true and trust HIM.  He is not a man that HE would lie to you.  If you have been slack in your belief then repent and turn to HIM today.  He is faithful and just to forgive you.  Trust in HIM again.

Rev 22:14  Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

Rev 1:3
Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

Victorious Living

2 Timothy 1

Paul had mentored his nephew Timothy as a teen.   Paul wrote this letter to encourage Timothy in the work of the ministry.

Paul knowing the Jewish Hebrew law customs raised Timothy up as Bishop over the 100 plus congregations across the city state of Ephesus.

Historians say that at the time Paul the Apostle and the Council of Apostles appointed Timothy as Bishop of Ephesus he was only 22.   Hebrew cultural laws and tradition decreed that no male was to hold a position of authority or leadership until they reached the age of 30.

They had to have a parental command before they could speak or act on  their own in public.

This is why Jesus said in Cana of Galilee to his
mother in John 2:3-5
" And why they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, "They have no wine."  Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me?  My hour has not yet come"
His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it "

Jesus knew that because he was not yet 30 he needed a parental command in order for those servants to listen to him.

Paul knew the persecution and turmoil that Timothy was suffering as a result of his age so he encouraged Timothy to exercise his spiritual gifts.

2 Timothy 1:6-7 "Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.  For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. "

God had commanded Paul in the past to lay hands upon Timothy and when he did Jesus granted Timothy various giftings by the Holy Spirit to empower him to accomplish what God called him to do.
Timothy was being tested by older men and women who knew all the laws and customs, his own feelings of inadequecy and with how he dealt with the coordination of all the physical benevolences.

There was a strain that was placed upon Timothy to prove himself even though he clearly had Paul's backing. Think of the management and coordination that had to occur between 100 Pastors of separate scattered congregations across a vast City State much larger than New York.  He had to prove himself to be mature to every one of those "Older Pastors,Teachers, Deacons, Rabbis and their wives and their Elder's wives.

In 2 Timothy 2:1-4  Paul begins to give Timothy his operating instructions.  These instructions are not just for Timothy but they are for us today.
" You therefore,my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.  And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.  You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.  No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier."

All scripture is for instruction and reproof.  We too as believers can take Paul's admonition and relate it to our lives giving us tools to become overcoming Christians.  As we deal with our tests and trials in life are we not called Sons of God through the working of Christ Jesus?  Does not scripture say we are grafted into the vine of God the Father?

You can Count on the Lord

Have you ever been given an IMPOSSIBLE assignment?
It happens to all of us on our jobs lately because of the economy.
Employers are wanting their employees to do the work of two or three employees but still pay them what they would pay one worker.
Does this sound familiar to you?
You are given a task that you have no ability on your own to accomplish.
As Christians we are given an impossible assignment from the Lord.   We really do not have the ability within ourselves to accomplish it.   Unfortunately, there will be those who will not measure up to the criteria that the Lord is looking for.
“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.  All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.  And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.  Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:  for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;  I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?  When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?  Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’  And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:  for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;  I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’  “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’  Matt 25:31-44

God never calls us to do something impossible without giving us the equipment to accomplish the assignment.   Faithful is HE that has called you, who also will do it.  1 Thess 5:24    How will He do it ?   Through the person of the Holy Spirit.   Jesus knew that we would never be able to complete the assignment of being Christlike without the power of the Holy Spirit.
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Cor 10:13   The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment.  2 Peter 2:9

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him,and delivers them. The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.  The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit.  Many are the afflictions of the righteous: the the Lord delivers them out of them all.  Psalm 34:7,17-19
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jer 29:11

Jesus knew that we were going to need help so he commanded the disciples saying " I send the promise of my Father upon you; but stay in the city, until you are clothed with power from on high.” Luke 24:49

On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”  When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.  Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.”  And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.  John 20:19-22

The Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words.  And he who searches the hearts of men knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
Rom 8:26-27

Without the help of the Holy Spirit we cannot expect to accomplish anything for the Lord.  We need HIS power within us so we don't get worn out and burned out.   There are many christians today who are doing their best to try and accomplish something for the Lord in their own strength and abilities.  They don't realize that the mission can only be accomplished by those who are equipped for the job.  This equipment can only be accomplished when a person desires to receive HIM.  He is the blessed third person of the trinity.  He is a gentleman.  He will not go where HE is not welcomed.   Welcome HIM today and Receive HIM into your heart and HE will give you everything you need to accomplish the plan and purpose of God in your life!

What does the Lord Require?

Matt 7:22-23 “Many will say to Me in that day, Lord , Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you, depart from me, you who practice lawlessness!  Lawlessness is direct rebellion to the Holy Spirit.  You cannot fulfill the will of the Heavenly Father if you do not abide by His commands.

John 15:12 “ This is my commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you.” 10 “ If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.”  17 “These things I command you, that you love one another.”

1 Cor 13: 2 “ And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge: and though I have all faith, so that I could move mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.”  The love of the Lord requires action.  It requires us to do something.
Luke 6:46 “ But why do you call me Lord, Lord and not do the things which I say? Whoever comes to me, and hears my sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:  He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on rock.  And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that houseand could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.  But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently: and immediately it fell and the ruin of that house was great.”
Romans 2:13 “ For not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God but the doers of the law will be justified.”  We see here that it seems to suggest that there must be an act of doing something.  Jesus had a job to do when he was in this earth and so do we.

John 17:4 “ I have glorified you on the earth.  I have finished the work which you have given me to do.”  He too was required by God to do works.
James 2:14 “ What does it profit, my brethren if someone says he has faith but does not have works? “ Have you ever encountered an individual who professed themselves to be a Christian and yet the vile hurtful things that they speak out of their mouths is a contradiction?   They are hearing the word and all the while they are deceiving themselves into thinking that simply because they hear it they don't have to apply it and live according to it.

Jer 9:8 “Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speak deceit :one speaks peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth, but in his heart he lays his wait.”  They might speak words that are so nice to you to your fact and yet inwardly their heart is wicked and they are just waiting for the opportunity to hurt you.

The commandment that Jesus gave is so simple to love one another even as He has loved us and yet its so hard for some individuals because their hearts are full of bitterness, unforgiveness, malice and hatred.  Sometimes you can almost see what is in their hearts manifest on their facial expressions.

Jer 15:19 “ Therefore thus saith the Lord, if thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth:” The Lord was saying that if you repent of the iniquity of your mouth that he would once again bring you into a covenant relationship with him.  He wants us to remove the bitter words of slander, complaining, doubt and unbelief and replace it with words of faith, hope and encouragement.

James 3:2-6 “For in many things we offend all.  If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.  Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.  Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.  Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things.  Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!  And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity; so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.”  Here we see that the tongue is able to defile the whole body of Christ.
In the Old Testament King David knew the serverity of coming up against God’s anointed.  He would not speak against Saul or raise his hand against him.

1 Sam 24:6  “And he said unto his men, The Lord forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the Lord’s anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the Lord.” Verse 10 “Behold, this day thine eyes have seen how that the Lord had delivered thee today into mine hand in the cave: and some bade me kill eye spared thee; and I said, I will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the Lord’s anointed.”  We must be careful about what we speak out of our mouths concerning the Lord’s anointed.
Matt 12:34-37 “O generation of vipers, how can ye being evil, speak good things?  For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.  A good man out of the good treasure of heart bringeth forth good things:  and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.  But I say unto you, that every word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.  For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”  Matt 15: 11 “ Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.”

Matt 15: 17-20 “Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the drought?  But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.  For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: these are the things which defile a man:”  It is interesting that Jesus mentions false witness as a thing coming out a man’s mouth that defiles him.
Even the ones who were chosen to be used mightily by God were purged of the iniquity of their lips first.
Isaiah 6:6-7 “ Then flew one of the seraphins unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the alter: and he laid it upon thy mouth, and said, lo this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and they sin purged.
Prov 16:23 “The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.”
If we are committed to keeping the command of the Lord of loving one another even as He has loved us then we must learn to bridle our tongues and determining to keep our hearts pure.
